One of the important features of the Navodaya Vidyalya Scheme is the Scheme of exchange of students from one Navodaya Vidyalaya in a particular linguistic region to another Vidyalaya in a different linguistic region to promote understanding of the diversity and plurality of India's culture and people. According to the scheme, 30% of children from one Navodaya Vidyalaya are migrated to another Vidyalaya at Class IX level. Mobility of students across the country is a commendable step in which the opportunity is provided to students at an impressionable age, to live and learn along with their peers from states other than their own and to get acquainted with and motivated by experiences of national integration in action.
Due precautions are taken in the movement of the children between the remotest parts of the country, between JNVs located in North, South, East or West India. The officers from the Hqtr. as well as Regional Offices of the NVS, during their visits to JNVs, make it a point to see that the migrated children are happily adjusted in the vidyalayas they have migrated to. By and large the Principals are able to ensure that the children under migration are made to feel at home to the extent possible by giving them special care and attention.
Under this scheme 20 students of class IX of this Vidyalaya are migrated to JNV Ballia.Utter Pradesh every year and nearly the same number of students are coming to this Vidyalaya from JNV,Ballia. Special care has been provided to these migrated students in all aspects so that they should feel at home here.
